Talk therapy is an exploratory and supportive space for processing emotions and gaining insight into your personal and interpersonal needs. However, many clients become frustrated with the progress they expect to see in their daily lives. While insight is certainly useful and empathic support necessary for healing and self-acceptance, sometimes these methods do not meet the needs for measurable change. If you are seeking to take your healing and growth to a new level, Mindful Resilience Therapy offers a more direct path to heal, grow and change.
Mindful Resilience Therapy offers a structured and integrated group skills training program that combines effective, evidence-based skills from a variety of therapy methods. The aim of Mindful Resilience Therapy is to develop a toolkit of skills that will address the needs and symptoms of diverse symptoms, addressing the underlying needs of depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Based in Mindfulness, clients will learn to use powerful practices to circumnavigate their emotional and psychological triggers of distress, while also developing practices to meet their emotional needs in the moment.
You will be taken step-by-step through a 12-week group resiliency skills training program. Skills addressed will draw from Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, EMDR/Trauma Resourcing, and Integrative Care Planning. These skills will help support you in developing the tools and practices to achieve mastery of your emotions, behaviors, and mental perspective.
Through the practice of Mindfulness Awareness, you will learn to regulate your emotional states, develop more effective responses to life's stressors and challenges, proactively address the symptoms of mental and emotional distress. Through focused awareness of the present moment, you will learn to enter a field of possibilities and opportunities that previously felt out of reach, and you will develop the capacity to adapt to change and growth.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an effective set of coping and self-regulatory skills that help one to pause before responding to heightened emotional and physiological reactions. Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) provides a structured approach to working with specific emotional triggers, which can lead to irrational thinking and extreme behaviors and reactions; CBT assists with breaking through dysfunctional belief systems and finding more adaptive response patterns.
Individual Therapy is an integral component to developing and implementing the skills you will be acquiring. Therapy consists of focusing on your individual needs and developing the tools and resources to regulate your emotions and respond proactively to life's demands and opportunities. We also offer Trauma-informed therapy, including EMDR therapy for PTSD/trauma reprocessing.
Coaching assists with exploring your personal mindset and beliefs that may be limiting your growth and potential, and will support you in creating and developing the life you are made to live. Coaching is also an integral component in developing and practicing skills for Mindful Resiliency. We offer both personal and professional coaching by a Certified Coach.
Throughout the 12-week program, you will be building your personal Self-Care and Self-Development Plans to provide you with a concrete and actionable approach to working with mental health symptoms as well as developing a plan for achieving and sustaining lasting growth and self-actualization.
