The Mindful Resilience Therapy Skills Training Program provides a comprehensive and integrative approach to working with individual mental health symptoms and needs. This 12-week program includes a 12-week group skills development sequence, combined with individual therapy and coaching to assist participants in their integration of skills and address individual mental health needs. The program is designed to meet the needs of diverse individuals, through the collective group learning process and acquisition of mental health resiliency skills, and the individualized treatment program provided by individual therapy/coaching sessions.
Groups serve to provide core skills for mental health, including fundamental coping skills for distress and emotional health, restructuring of core beliefs and values, individualized behavioral health planning, and practices for working with emotional and psychological pain and trauma. Individual therapy and coaching sessions will assist clients to develop and integrate group training skills into individualized mental health and behavioral plans, and will focus on the application of learning to specific needs and goals for psychological and emotional health and adaptive resilience.
In the 12-week structured group skills training, you will be guided through a sequential acquisition of skills, reinforcing the benefits of Mindfulness and their applications to mental health resilience. Core skills of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Trauma Resourcing approaches will be learned, practiced, and implemented in your daily life. Self-Care Plans and Self-Development Plans will assist you in identifying and organizing individual skills to promote mental health resilience and personal and professional goals achievement.
Groups provide a safe space to explore interpersonal issues and learn new ways of expressing and communicating feelings, thoughts, and needs. Groups offer a structured approach to accessing and learning new skills, as well as growth opportunities to provide and receive empathy, develop compassion for yourself and others, and to express yourself honestly and with integrity in a non-judgmental and supportive atmosphere.

As part of the 12-week Mindful Resilience Therapy Program, you will be matched with one of our staff clinicians to participate in individual therapy and coaching. We offer several levels of intensity for individual therapy support, from weekly to bi-weekly to monthly, depending on your needs and outside support systems.
Therapy methods and focuses will vary and be based on your individual treatment goals and needs. We offer a range of therapy methods, including support for DBT and CBT skills development and integration, Mindfulness-based coping skills, and EMDR/trauma-focused therapy for trauma healing. In therapy, we seek to repair the damage trauma has caused and help you to re-claim a healthy sense of trust in yourself and in others. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an effective, evidence-based trauma healing approach that helps to restore personal integrity and inner peace. By connecting with your internal resources and strengths while participating in a structured approach to heal from traumatic events, you can heal from trauma and recover your true, authentic self.
We also offer CBT-Trauma-Focused healing, which combines trauma healing methods and processes with a structured, cognitive behavioral approach to working with trauma and distress triggers, and can be combined with DBT Mindfulness-based coping strategies for improving emotional health.
Coaching is an additional resource we offer to assist with exploring and updating your beliefs and concretizing actionable plans to move you forward in your personal, professional, creative or interpersonal goals.
Individual Self-Care and Self-Development Plans will be developed throughout the program, incorporating skills from DBT, CBT, Mindful Resourcing and healing practices, and individualized therapy sessions. Self-Care plans assist you in identifying your needs, triggers of distress, and coping skills to address a variety of stressors and mental health symptoms. Self-Development Plans target your individual goals, including personal, interpersonal, and professional aims, and will assist you in developing a practical plan of action to pursue your goals and aims. Integrated group and individual therapy will provide the tools and support necessary to develop healthy plans of action, focused both on Self-Care and Self-Development.
Mindful Resilience Therapy is a practical and pragmatic approach to working with your thoughts, emotions, and life's stressors and opportunities. Throughout the program, you will be integrating and applying skills learning and development to your specific needs. Through group integrative skills learning, you will develop the tools to improve your emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Self-Care and Self-Development plans will enable you to create specific plans to achieve your goals and improve your life. Individual therapy and coaching will further individualize your learning so that by the time you complete the program, you will feel confident in moving forward with your life and aspirations. Follow-up care will be provided to assist you with ongoing integration and application of learning to your life's goals and success!
